Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, holidays every other, first to float, with call/standby requirement

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to diverse medical and surgical patients including total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, CHF, CVA, and diabetic cases
Monitor telemetry strips confirming with monitor tech for accurate patient oversight
Collaborate with nurse aides and RT team managing CPAP, BiPAP, and hi-flow equipment
Float across units to provide essential support where needed most
Ensure patient safety through vigilant monitoring and timely interventions

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience
BLS certification required
EPIC charting system proficiency a plus
Comfortable with floating, call requirements, and every other weekends/holidays

Education

RN licensure; BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Med/Surg assessment and patient care skills
Telemetry monitoring and strip confirmation
Familiarity with respiratory equipment like CPAP, BiPAP, and hi-flow
EPIC documentation expertise
Team collaboration in fast-paced acute care settings
