Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3 x 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to medical/surgical patients specializing in post-tumor interventions like prostatectomies and mastectomies
Titrate essential drips including heparin, lidocaine, and TPN to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor telemetry with keen attention to changes in a 21-bed unit with 1:5 ratios
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to provide patient-centered excellence
Maintain precise documentation and timely interventions that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience
BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
Oncology certification is a plus but not required
Comfortable with EPIC charting system
Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Education

BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Med/Surg Oncology patient care
Proficiency titrating drips like heparin and lidocaine
EPIC documentation mastery
Telemetry monitoring and strip reading
Timely, accurate, and compassionate patient interactions
