Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver fast-paced, high-quality care to 85-115 emergency patients daily in a bustling 18-bed ED
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4, or 1:2 for ICU cases, ensuring top-notch attention
• Collaborate with shift managers, resource nurses, ED techs, and 24/7 support teams for seamless teamwork
• Handle vents, Phillips telemetry, and diverse cases including correctional and indigent patients
• Float between nearby facilities as needed to support the team

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 2+ years of ER experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Teamwork superstar ready for a primary commitment in a high-volume ED
• Comfortable with Cerner EMR and navy blue scrubs

Education

• RN licensure required, BSN preferred but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency room protocols and fast-track operations
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Strong ventilator management and telemetry skills using Phillips
• Adaptable to diverse patient populations and floating between campuses
