Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, respectful patient care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the care team
Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Support therapeutic plans of care and follow infection control protocols
Build trusting relationships with patients and their families, treating everyone with dignity

Qualifications

Current, valid CNA certification (state-certified) — required
Minimum clinical experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy (e.g., flu, TB screening) preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable transportation to the Lancaster facility

Education

CNA certification (state-approved program) required
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Knowledge of basic infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with patient transfers, mobility assistance, and use of assistive devices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with basic charting and care documentation
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
