Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to deliver reliable patient results
• Collect, process and analyze blood, urine and tissue specimens with care and accuracy
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure uptime
• Prepare reagents, solutions and media needed for testing and maintain inventory accuracy
• Document test results and maintain data integrity using the laboratory information system
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to maintain a secure, compliant laboratory environment
• Collaborate with clinicians and lab colleagues to support high quality patient care

Qualifications

• CLT or CLS credential or equivalent certification/qualification (position listed as CLT/CLS)
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a laboratory technician or in a clinical laboratory role
• Proven experience in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis and blood banking
• Comfortable performing blood sampling and basic phlebotomy; phlebotomy experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and data management
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and commitment to quality control
• Willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting and work on-site
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and be available for on-call coverage
