Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Respond promptly and compassionately to resident calls and bedside needs
Observe residents for skin integrity changes and report concerns to the care team
Perform safe resident transfers and repositioning to maintain comfort and reduce risk
Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas, change linens, and restock supplies
Collect and relay information about resident conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and providers

Qualifications

Current California CNA license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Clear English communication skills for reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with residents, families, and long-term care staff
Comfort with resident transfers, patient repositioning, and bedside care

Education

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) assistance
Vital signs monitoring and documentation
Patient transfer and safe repositioning techniques
Bathing and dressing assistance
Resident call response and bedside care
Observation of skin integrity and reporting changes
Ability to relate to residents and family members in a compassionate way
Working effectively with long-term care staff under typical SNF conditions

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Compensation structure with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
