Location: High Point, North Carolina

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and use of assistive devices
Document care accurately and timely to support excellent continuity
Collaborate with the care team to help implement individualized care plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous CNA experience preferred, but enthusiastic newcomers are welcome
Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and facility onboarding requirements
Reliable, compassionate, and able to perform physically demanding tasks per policy

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA program completion and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic nursing care and infection control practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-centered approach
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans precisely
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy setting
Familiarity with safe patient handling and fall-prevention techniques
