Location: High Point, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (specific days not specified; schedule set by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition
Support safe mobility and transfers while following facility protocols
Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Valid CNA practice authorization for North Carolina or ability to obtain one
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a compassionate approach
Prior experience in long term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers
Good documentation skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused mindset
