Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and support to patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, and toileting
Take and accurately record vital signs and communicate any changes to nursing staff
Help with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document care in a timely and professional manner and communicate with the care team
Support patient emotional needs and engage families with clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Georgia (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and basic personal care
Reliable, compassionate, and a strong team player
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but enthusiastic learners are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Active state CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Patient transfer and safe lifting techniques
Clear, professional communication with patients and team members
Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
