Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance
Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
Support daily living activities while promoting patient dignity and independence
Maintain accurate patient charts and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
Help create a calm, respectful environment that supports recovery and well-being

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification strongly preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to changing assignments
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and attention to patient safety

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient hygiene, ADLs, and mobility assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and patient observation
Infection control practices and proper PPE use
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
