Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and support daily living activities for patients
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention efforts
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and clinical staff
Document patient care promptly and accurately in the record system
Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights with professionalism
Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and following care plans
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Basic vital sign assessment and documentation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Clear verbal and written communication with patients and teammates
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
