Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on basic nursing care to patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and maintain proper infection control practices
Document care clearly and timely in the patient record to ensure continuity
Communicate effectively with nurses, patients, and families to support care plans
Contribute to a positive patient experience by being attentive, kind, and reliable

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Active state registration or certification in California preferred
Comfortable assisting with personal care and basic clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain when hired

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent training
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient safety and infection control best practices
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition
Compassionate bedside manner and respectful communication
