Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients — assist with ADLs like bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and ensure proper use of mobility aids
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Help create a comfortable, dignified environment that supports recovery
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver coordinated care
Follow infection control protocols to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in California (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Completion of an approved CNA training program
Ability to pass required background check and drug screen
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Flexible availability to work per-diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Comfortable taking vital signs and recognizing clinical changes
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
Reliable documentation and time-management skills
Team player who communicates clearly with care teams and families
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
