Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support their dignity
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Take and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and coworkers
Collaborate with nurses and team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid CNA authorization in California (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work per diem shifts, including weekends
Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindset

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care and comfort measures
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Accurate charting and effective communication with clinical teams
Basic infection control and patient safety practices
