Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments safely per policy
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with clear communication
- Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary team members to deliver care
- Assist with wound care, basic procedures, and comfort measures
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (required) — ability to hold state licensure
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on per diem assignments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with patients and staff
- Up-to-date immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid basic nursing assessment and patient observation skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a 12.5-hour day shift
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapting to change
