Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with policies, standards of care, and state practice laws
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including education for patients and families
• Document clinical care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
• Provide clinical guidance and support to other units when floated
• Participate in performance improvement and shared governance initiatives to improve patient outcomes
• Use critical thinking to assess patient safety and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• BLS/CPR certification (required)
• Flu vaccination required
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts and provide every other weekend & holiday coverage
• Able and willing to float to other units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and prior acute care nursing experience preferred
