Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening mammograms to support early detection and patient care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX, following safety protocols
• Chart accurately and promptly in EPIC to ensure complete patient records
• Provide clear education and compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with the radiology team and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient flow and outcomes
• Float between clinic locations within your scope of practice when needed to meet department needs
• Participate in orientation (40 hours) and follow facility scheduling and call-off policies

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ARRT(M) and ARRT(R) preferred (marked as preferred, not mandatory)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an adult outpatient clinic required
• EPIC charting experience required
• State mammography license in-hand required at time of signature (pending licenses not accepted)
• Reliable personal transportation required (public transportation not acceptable)
• First-time travelers accepted; locals within a 50-mile radius and non-locals both considered
• Willingness to be considered for permanent hire at the end of the contract if offered

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in screening mammograms and outpatient mammography workflows
• Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
• Strong EPIC charting proficiency
• Patient-centered communication and the ability to comfort adult and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with charge capture and outpatient scheduling is a plus
• Ability to work independently and float between nearby clinic locations when needed
