Shift Type: Per diem, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift; schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor residents and accurately report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Take and document vital signs and contribute to resident care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and team members
- Support team goals by arriving prepared, staying organized, and pitching in where needed
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico preferred or eligible)
- Comfort working night shifts and a per diem schedule
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care basics
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Accurate and timely documentation skills
- Ability to observe, assess, and report resident changes
- Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced care setting
- Respectful, patient-centered communication with residents and families
