Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify outpatient prescriptions accurately and efficiently to support safe patient care
• Process discharge medications and coordinate bedside delivery with clinical teams
• Use Epic Willow Ambulatory to document, track and manage outpatient medication workflows
• Provide excellent customer service and patient education for immunizations and medication use
• Support pharmacists in medication management services and sterile compounding processes when needed
• Maintain accurate inventory, records and compliance with pharmacy policies and state regulations
• Communicate clearly with nursing, physicians and patients to ensure timely medication access

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License required upon submission
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience required — you’ll be using it day-to-day
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Outpatient/retail pharmacy experience preferred (Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc.)
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required prior to start

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong experience with prescription and medication dispensing workflows
• Comfortable processing discharge medications and coordinating bedside delivery
• Proficiency in Epic Willow Ambulatory for outpatient pharmacy operations
• Attention to detail, strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with sterile compounding practices and medication management services
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and the broader clinical team
