Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical ventilation and provide expert ventilator management for critical care patients
- Deliver noninvasive ventilation and administer inhaled therapies including nitric oxide and heliox when indicated
- Perform arterial puncture and other bedside procedures safely and accurately
- Care for a wide range of patients — neonates through geriatrics — across ICU, NICU, ER and floor therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan and document respiratory care effectively
- Operate and troubleshoot common ventilators and respiratory equipment to maintain optimal therapy
- Prioritize patient safety and infection control during all respiratory interventions
- Provide clear, timely charting and handoffs to ensure continuity of care during night shifts
Qualifications
- Mechanical ventilation and critical care experience required
- NICU experience preferred; NRP required if NICU experience is present
- Experience with noninvasive ventilation, arterial puncture, and inhaled medications (including surfactant)
- Comfort administering inhaled nitric oxide and heliox
- Willingness to complete a virtual interview and submit a combined resume + full skills checklist as one document
- Ability to work night shifts consistently as scheduled
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management and mechanical ventilation skills
- Experience across ICU, NICU, ER and floor therapy environments
- Skilled in noninvasive ventilation and arterial puncture
- Familiarity with inhaled medications: LABA, LAMA, SABA, ICS and surfactant
- Experience with inhaled nitric oxide and heliox therapies
- Comfort using equipment such as Drager V500, VN500, Evita XL, Carina, Philips V60 and V30
- Ability to manage common diagnoses: respiratory failure, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, CHF, ARDS and COVID-19
