Shift Type: Rotating nights (overnight), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; schedule includes every other weekend (night shift coverage)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients with complex needs
- Assess and monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, CRRT and intracranial pressure devices
- Perform and assist with procedures such as central line, arterial line and chest tube insertions
- Document accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR to maintain continuity of care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered plans
- Recognize and respond to clinical changes quickly to improve patient outcomes
- Mentor and support colleagues while contributing to a safe, team-oriented unit culture
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure (state license or compact where applicable)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU/critical care experience (trauma or surgical ICU strongly preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS (required)
- Experience with CRRT, EVD, arterial/CVC lines and ventilator management
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR documentation
- TNCC or ATCN certifications a plus
- Strong teamwork, communication and critical thinking skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
- Ongoing professional development in critical care nursing encouraged
Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced critical care assessment and monitoring
- Management of hemodynamics, ventilators and CRRT
- Familiarity with Camino ICP, EVD and Wound VAC devices
- Proficiency in central line, arterial line and chest tube care
- Accurate clinical documentation in Cerner
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration
