Shift Type: Per diem / varied days, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any significant changes
- Support mobility needs including safe transfers and ambulation assistance
- Document care and observations clearly in resident charts and communicate with the care team
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
- Active CNA authorization in New Mexico or ability to obtain it prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Reliable, patient-focused, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and hands-on experience with ADLs
- Comfortable taking vital signs and observing/reporting patient condition
- Knowledge of safe transfer and lifting techniques
- Familiarity with infection control practices and basic charting
- Good communication and teamwork skills with residents and clinical staff
