Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 32 hours/week (schedule to be confirmed). Example option: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, day shift (four 8-hour days) — actual schedule to be finalized with hiring manager

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions and diagnose movement dysfunction to create clear, patient-centered care plans
- Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to help patients regain mobility and independence
- Coach and teach therapeutic exercises and stretches to empower patients in their recovery
- Apply hands-on therapies such as manual therapy and massage to reduce pain and promote healing
- Document progress thoroughly and communicate updates to patients, families, and the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Provide patient and family education to reduce anxiety and support long-term outcomes
- Participate in professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (required)
- Current Physical Therapist state license (required or active ability to obtain prior to start as applicable)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Experience working directly with patients in long term care or hospital settings
- Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal communication
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
Education
- Masters Degree in Physical Therapy (from an accredited program)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and rehabilitation program development
- Treatment planning and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Manual therapy techniques including massage and musculoskeletal manipulation
- Accurate documentation and clinical reporting
- Patient education and effective verbal communication
- Team collaboration and conflict resolution
- Understanding of long term care and outpatient/inpatient clinical workflows
