Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Support mobility and safe transfers to keep residents comfortable and prevent falls
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any concerning changes promptly
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient observations and care activities
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver consistent, person-centered care
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to protect patients and staff
• Assist with mealtimes and feeding as needed, ensuring dignity and respect for each resident

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Current, valid CNA authorization or eligibility to work in Pennsylvania (preferred)
• Comfortable working evening shifts and delivering direct resident care
• Able to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Comfort with standard infection control and safety procedures
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
