Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility needs
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and positioning according to facility policy
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient charts or EHR
Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification for New Mexico
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’ll be part caregiver, part teammate
Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care and transfers

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical care and comfort measures for patients
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
Comfortable with basic charting and EHR documentation
Team-oriented mindset with good time management and observation skills
