Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility needs
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Document patient observations and care provided in a clear, timely manner
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to support individualized care plans
• Support admissions, transfers and discharges as needed during shift

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (New Mexico or eligible for state certification)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work per-diem night shifts
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs (bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility assistance)
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and reporting abnormalities
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Comfortable with clear documentation and basic electronic charting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
