Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation while maintaining dignity
• Support meal assistance and document intake per facility protocols
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly with the care team and family members to support resident-centered care
• Contribute to accurate, timely charting and shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing direct patient care
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with nursing team
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Basic knowledge of infection control and resident safety
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with electronic or paper charting preferred
