Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and feeding
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient positioning using proper body mechanics
Take and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the nursing staff
Document patient care accurately and timely in facility records
Support the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and their families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in New Mexico (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Reliability and flexibility to work per diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident-centered care
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, infection control, safe transfers
Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
