Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, following facility protocols
• Assist nursing team with basic clinical tasks and timely patient needs
• Observe, report, and document changes in patient condition accurately
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment for residents
• Build rapport with patients and families to promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Ability to work per-diem shifts as needed (per diem contract)
• Valid state-required immunizations and background checks as required by facility
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong attention to detail

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program (state-recognized)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Basic patient observation and documentation skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
