Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and support mobility
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean environment
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff to support care goals
Support care plans and participate in team-based patient care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent
Ability to meet state certification or facility onboarding requirements
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and performing routine patient care tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Willingness to work per-diem shifts and adapt to varying assignments

Education

Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
Safe transfer and mobility assistance
Infection control and hygiene best practices
Clear documentation and effective communication with care teams
Compassionate, patient-focused bedside manner
