Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist nurses with vital signs, reporting changes in patient condition promptly
Support safe and comfortable patient transfers and mobility
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Uphold infection control standards and facility policies at all times
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state-equivalent credential
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and basic nursing tasks
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing person-centered care

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
Ability to follow care plans and report changes accurately
Basic infection control and safety practices
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
