Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with respect and patience
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with colleagues and families
• Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures while encouraging independence
• Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Ability to pass required facility background checks and immunization screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight per diem shifts
• Basic life support/CPR certification preferred or completed upon hire as required

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable performing basic clinical tasks: vital signs, ADLs, and patient transfers
• Understanding of infection control, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality
• Clear verbal and written communication for handoffs and documentation
• Teamwork and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to detail and a caring bedside manner
