Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic nursing care and personal assistance to residents
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention, including transfers and ambulation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
• Follow infection control practices and ensure a safe, clean environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and in a per diem capacity
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
• Ability to meet facility onboarding requirements (e.g., background check, immunizations) as applicable

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Safe patient transfer and mobility support techniques
• Basic documentation and charting practices
• Compassionate, patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
