Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and observe/report changes in patient condition
• Support safe and comfortable patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and vital signs
• Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment
• Engage patients with respect and dignity, fostering a positive experience

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Preferred: prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar clinical settings
• Preferred: CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, patient transfers, infection control
• Patient-centered care and strong observational skills
• Reliable documentation and charting practices
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and support staff
• Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
