Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and general condition accurately
• Document care in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team and supervisors
• Support restorative and mobility programs to help residents maintain independence
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (state registry recommended)
• Completion of an approved CNA program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or required per facility
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Comfortable with lifting, transfers, and physical aspects of resident care
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
• Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic and reliable candidates are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Graduation from an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident assistance
• Knowledge of basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with residents and families
