Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility support
• Perform routine bedside care including bathing, dressing and feeding
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team
• Support a therapeutic, respectful environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — ready to work in North Carolina
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass facility-required health screenings and background checks
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of patient safety, infection control and basic clinical procedures
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs, toileting, feeding and mobility
• Comfortable with bedside documentation and reporting
• Team player with strong observational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and work under direction of RNs/LPNs
