Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and functional training
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions and outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the interdisciplinary team for coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on recovery strategies, mobility and injury prevention
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Vermont
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and patient evaluation
- Treatment planning and implementation
- Therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
- Patient progress monitoring and outcome-driven adjustments
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication
- Patient and family education on recovery and prevention
