Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical function and diagnose movement dysfunction through observation and clinical evaluation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and reduce pain
- Coach and educate patients on therapeutic exercises, stretches, and safe movement strategies
- Deliver hands-on techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to promote healing
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care plans, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
- Communicate patient status and progress with families, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Collaborate with speech and occupational therapists and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and professional development activities
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current Physical Therapist state license (or ability to obtain prior to start as required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care or hospital setting
- Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal communication
- Comfort working primarily outpatient with some inpatient responsibilities (approximately 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient)
- Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines
Education
- Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
