Respiratory Therapist
Location: Silverdale, Washington
Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Full-time night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the emergency department
- Manage ventilators and bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up in our strong level 2 nursery
- Draw ABGs and set up BiPAP and ventilator treatments to support patient breathing
- Assist with intubation and provide standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
- Deliver nebulizer treatments and ensure top-notch care across our inpatient unit
Qualifications
- Active Washington RT License required
- RRT or CRT certification accepted
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong NICU experience with bubble CPAP and ventilator skills
- Competence caring for neonates 32 weeks and up
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management with PB 980 equipment
- Philips V60 and Respironics Lumis BiPAP/CPAP setup
- ABG draws and nebulizer treatments
- Intubation assistance and conscious sedation support
- Team collaboration with 4+ RTs on night shifts
