Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-07-2026
End Date: 09-06-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures with precision and care
- Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with the in-house radiologist and lead tech to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
- Float to Mercy Downtown campus when needed to support patient care across locations
- Maintain detailed records using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Qualifications
- Active CA NMTL license required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Comfortable working independently with strong attention to detail
Knowledge & Skills
- Nuclear Medicine imaging expertise
- BLS certification
- CA NMTL licensure
- Experience with GE equipment
- Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity systems
