Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care during night shifts
• Perform timely respiratory assessments and monitor ventilatory status
• Administer and manage respiratory therapies and interventions in acute settings
• Respond quickly and effectively to respiratory emergencies and codes
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in competency exams and skills validation to maintain clinical readiness

Qualifications

• Current certification in BLS required
• PALS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• License or certificate verification completed prior to start
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass Prime drug screen (minimum 10-panel) and required health screenings
• Scheduling flexibility to work nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid foundation in respiratory therapy principles and acute care practice
• Familiarity with life support protocols reflected by required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)
• Comfort with competency testing and skills validation workflows
• Ability to follow infection control, immunization, and TB screening requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
