Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment and observe infection control practices
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and the care team
Accurately document care provided in resident records and escalate concerns promptly

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Active or valid CNA credential in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
Comfortable performing personal care tasks and basic clinical observations
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Background check and required health screenings per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control
Skill in taking and documenting vital signs
Ability to assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
