Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments each shift to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
• Administer medications and manage drips (Insulin, Heparin, Diltiazem) safely and per protocol
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias, escalating concerns promptly
• Conduct hourly rounding and pain assessments to proactively address patient needs
• Collaborate with LNA staff for vitals and basic care while providing supervision when needed
• Manage admissions through midnight and prioritize patient flow in a small, fast-paced unit
• Work independently and hit the ground running in a rural/small-facility setting

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (required)
• Active American Heart Association ACLS (required)
• Minimum 3 years experience in PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry (required)
• Basic dysrhythmia competency/test documented in profile (required)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required)
• Previous travel experience and rural/small facility experience highly preferred
• Reliable personal vehicle and permanent address included in profile
• All requested time-off (RTO) must be noted at submission; schedule accommodations are not approved after offer

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessments and focused head-to-toe evaluation
• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Medication administration and IV drip management including Insulin, Heparin, Diltiazem
• Hourly rounding, pain/braden/falls assessments, and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage acuity in a small unit
• Experience with both acute and rehab patient populations across the lifespan
