Location: Centennial, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and ativan with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patients with diverse needs from general medicine to post-surgical recovery
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to maintain optimal 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratios
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while delivering consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip titration and management skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and schedules
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
