Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate total care for critically ill patients in our specialized Oncology ICU
- Expertly manage ventilators, titrate drips, and monitor patients on BiPAP and CRRT
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Perform essential procedures including trach care, dressing changes, and comprehensive patient assessments
- Float to other ICUs, PCU, and BMT units as needed to support the broader care community
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of strong ICU experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proven ability to titrate drips and manage ventilated patients
- Experience caring for BiPAP patients is essential
- CRRT and transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver) is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ICU clinical skills including ventilator management and drip titration
- Comfort working with vents, CRRT, A-lines, BiPAP, and IV pumps
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Ability to provide total care including turning, trach care, and dressing changes
- Excellent communication and rapport-building with physicians and colleagues
