Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in the Emergency Department and with portable equipment
Assist in the Operating Room with fluoroscopic imaging
Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy
Work with students at Grady and perform competency check-offs
Float between departments as needed to support patient care
Operate GE, Phillips, and CareStream radiologic equipment

Qualifications

ARRT certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large level 2 trauma facility
Comfortable working with pediatric and neonatal patients
Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program

Education

Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program

Knowledge & Skills

X-ray imaging and radiologic equipment operation
Fluoroscopic equipment experience
EPIC and Sectra EMR systems
GE, Phillips, and CareStream equipment
Strong attention to detail for image quality evaluation
