Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients across multiple units
Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes
Administer medications and manage complex life-support equipment with precision
Educate patients and families on care plans while offering emotional support during challenging times

Qualifications

Active Iowa RN license or compact license
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with ICU monitoring equipment and ventilators
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies
Excellent assessment and documentation abilities
Flexibility to float between ICU units as needed
