Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients recovering from stroke and other conditions
Perform swallowing and language procedures using advanced equipment
Collaborate with OT and PT teams to deliver comprehensive rehab care
Document patient progress in Meditech Expanse system
Float to acute care when needed and maintain excellent patient experience standards

Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist license
2 years of experience preferred
Hospital and Inpatient Rehab experience preferred
Stroke evaluation and treatment experience
Comfortable with Vital Stim, AmpCare, MBSS, and FEES equipment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication using AIDET standards
Ability to work both independently and as part of a rehab team
Familiarity with Joint Commission Stroke Certification standards
