Location: Panama City, Florida

Start Date: 11-21-2025

End Date: 05-22-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 10-hour shifts, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Verify CPOE orders for accuracy and intervene when needed to keep patients safe
Interpret medication orders and transcribe them accurately into patient profiles
Prepare sterile and chemotherapy preparations following USP 797 & 800 guidelines
Develop and implement drug therapy management protocols including pharmacokinetics and antimicrobial stewardship
Supervise pharmacy technicians and verify their daily activities to maintain excellence
Detect and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current pharmacist licensure in Florida
PharmD or Bachelor's degree with recent acute care hospital experience
2 years of experience preferred
BLS and ACLS helpful but not required
NICU/PICU/Peds experience a plus

Education

PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pharmaceutical calculations and PK dosing experience
TPN calculations expertise
Pyxis system troubleshooting skills
Ability to accurately check pediatric oral and intravenous solutions
Excellent adaptability and customer focus
Collaborative team player with high work standards
