Location: Highlands, North Carolina

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to understand each patient's unique needs
Develop individualized plans of care that promote recovery and independence
Collaborate with the rehab team during rounds and care conferences
Communicate regularly with colleagues about patient progress and discharge planning
Provide therapy in patient rooms, hallways, outdoor areas, and the rehab gym
Assist patients across acute, swing, nursing home, and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Current NC Physical Therapy license required
CPR certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital or nursing home setting preferred
Strong patient communication skills
Ability to float between multiple care settings

Knowledge & Skills

Physical Therapy evaluations and plan of care development
Cerner and NetHealth documentation systems
Typical rehab services equipment and treatment areas
Patient-centered care across the continuum
